My father-in-law who is 80 years old was visiting over the weekend from out of state. During a late dinner, he bit into a piece of corn and broke off his front tooth and swallowed it! He was so upset knowing that he would have to spend the rest of the weekend without his front tooth. This past Memorial weekend on Friday most of the dentist had been closed. I don't have dental insurance and the few that were open wanted over $200 upfront to have my abscessed tooth pulled out. I hadn't seen a dentist in years cause of the lack of insurance and I'm scared to death of needles. Dr Hahn used a numbing gel first so that I barely noticed the needle and he waited patiently until I felt comfortable. Dr Hahn extracted the wrong tooth in prep for a crown. I came in for a broken tooth and he chose to remove the tooth next to it. My insurance is rejecting the claim stating that the tooth extracted was unneccessary.
I was in town for a family wedding on Saturday when my front tooth broke two hours before the family photos. My sister called her dentist, Dr Hahn who met me at his office 15 minutes later. He fixed my tooth and got me back to the wedding within an hour! I understand why she told me not to worry.
I had not seen a dentist in several years and was in extreme pain on a sunday night. I called Dr. Hahn's cell # which I got from a referral. He met me at his office at 10pm that night, got me comfortable enough to sleep that night and saw me the next morning to take care of my infected tooth. I can not say enough about the level of care he's willing to give. He now takes care of my entire family and my mother-in-law who lives in Florida and travels here for her major work!!!
