Went to dinner with my daughter and granddaughter. It was kind of hit and miss with proteins. Cooked appetizers were good. I would recommend new or different cook plates or seasoning the ones there. Everything stuck to plate really bad. It was a busy night after first round we didn't see our waiter for awhile a d when we did order more dishes we never did get them
Janelle is an absolute ROCKSTAR at Gen Korean BBQ!!! Hands down one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Super friendly, high energy, always on point, and made sure our table was perfect the entire time. Food kept coming, drinks were never empty, and the vibe was A+ because of her. She made the whole experience next level. If Janelle is working, you’re winning — ask for her!!
Hoku was awesome...I ordered a togo over the phone and when I showed up the place was busy..i waited for about 30 minutes and decided to cancel it but hoku the manager came and took care of it..will definitely be back to try the dine in experience..Mahalo!
Janelle was an amazing server! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. Our drinks stayed full, our food came out right, and she had such a great attitude. She really made the experience enjoyable. Would love to have her as our server again!
Waited 45 minutes for a table. Server had way too many tables to handle, service was slow, and we did not get half of the dishes we ordered. It also seemed like they only had one register available so we had to wait almost 15 minutes for the check. This was on a Monday. The meat is ok but some of the dishes taste gross, especially anything "smoked". Brought friends from the mainland and they were very disappointed. I've eaten here about 6 or 7 times now and each time it's worse. You're better off going elsewhere.
