I’ve always gone to Sikdorak whenever I wanted KBBQ, but this trip to Gen has definitely changed that! I really liked how clean the restaurant was, and I appreciated that the AC was blasting since it can get hot when grilling. Our server was very attentive, even with how crowded it was. The meat quality was pretty good overall, and my favorite was definitely the kalbi. I usually go for the pork jowl and thin brisket, but this time I thought they were just okay. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I have dined here before, but the quality of service has declined severely. Despite the restaurant not being busy, my party was left waiting outside for over an hour before being seated. When we asked for an update, the staff and management were unhelpful and came across as dismissive rather than accommodating. They were obnoxiously understaffed. They have plenty of tables, but not enough people to sit parties. We were the third party on the waitlist but had to wait over and hour and a half to be seated. It was just me and my husband. I will probably never come back to this location.
