We had several bids for redoing our driveway with pavers, Gemstone gave us the best price and also had several designs and colors to choose from. We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship, completed the work in a timely manner and did a great job in the clean up. Clay, as representative for Gemstone, responded to our questions about paver installation in a knowledgeable and courteous manner. We had contacted several other paving companies and price wise Gemstone was very reasonable. The workmanship was outstanding and work was performed in a very professional manner. We would highly recommend Gemstone for any paving service. Gemstone and their personnel made the entire procedure very comfortable.

In the last 6 years, Gemstone has completed 1 very large and 1 smaller paving job for us .The largest included an extended walkway from the street to our home and a large patio surrounding our pool. Just had a beautiful 512 square foot patio done by gemstone. Clay was great to deal with. He was on top of every phase of the project. The crews showed up when promised and did an excellent job of installing the patio. The coating crew was here the next day and evrything was done in 2 days. I have a few more projects planned for our housr and I will be calling Ckayton again. Great job guys!!!
Clay is one of the best contractors that I have ever had the privilege of working with .Everything we talk about he got done! GemStone installed a colored concrete topper in 1998 on my gulf front patio. Now 17 years later it's still looks like new. We have patio deck furniture on the surface with no issues.
Recently had floors done by Gemstone.Colored concrete urethane coating is not acceptable as a floor covering and I would not recommend it.As far as Gemstone goes it was a battle to get them to do a good job as they would try to convince me I should be satisfied with sub standard quality.In their favor they did apply the coating to my floor 3 times but each time resulted in a new defect.The last time left my counter tops covered with a fine mist of whatever they put on the floor and had to be scraped off.Floor has pock marks ... read more
