Nick & team did a fantastic job installing gravel and river rock in our back yard. They levelled out the area between the garage and house and put down fabric to stop weeds/grass from growing through there and in our flowerbed. They got it all done in about half a day. A major upgrade from the patchy grass, weeds and old busted up concrete that were there before!

Nick and his crew did an amazing job installing sod around our pool. They also built a block wall that came out fantastic. They were very courteous and hardworking. They will be taking care of all of our landscaping needs in the future. We highly recommend.
Nick runs a great operation. His communication was excellent, keeping us informed of arrival times, asking our preferences throughout the project and always doing a walkthrough each day of what was done and what was planned for the next day. He had a great idea for edging that really added a bit of polish to the areas we were hoping to improve. We’ve worked with Nick and Gempel Lawn and Garden the last couple of years and have been extremely satisfied with his work and his work ethic. We hired Nick initially to handle a sod job. His work was so well done we had him back for several other jobs. Nick saved a poorly done cement grill pad installed by another contractor by building a custom paver surround for us making an unusable space a beautiful and functional space.
