They provided a $13.5k and $11k maximum retail value for a couple of costume jewelry pieces. Unless you're in the market for insurance fraud, I'd stay as far away from these guys as possible.
I purchased a few pieces of Jewelry that came with appraisal certificates from GLA and the jewelry was not worth anything near the appraisal amount. The jewelry was costume jewelry at best. GLA gave appraisal values for $4,999 and $12,999. Completely worthless. Run away from anything that is being offered with certificates from GLA - Gemological Laboratory of America.
