Thursday night family dinner. Food was awesome! Want to highlight the buffalo chili, tomato soup, blue cheese dressing in the salad, chicken fried steak, half chicken, and veggie pasta primavera. It was all excellent, good enough to pull out my phone and write a review at the table. Thank you for the excellent food and friendly staff.
I recently visited the Gem Steakhouse while vacationing near Deadwood, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the half rack of ribs with mashed potatoes, but the quality of the ribs fell far short of expectations. The ribs had an excessive amount of fat, probably the most I’ve ever seen on ribs, with large chunks that made it difficult to enjoy the meal.
