I recently went to Gem Jewelers with a necklace that needed a new clasp. I had taken it to Michael's Jewelers first And they quoted me $275!!!! The price of gold, the time it takes, etc.etc. Meanwhile, a friend of mine had recommended Gem for jewelry repair. Took the necklace there and they repaired it for $0!! Now granted, it wasn't gold but Michael's hadn't even offered me that option. And Cheryl of Gem said if I really wanted a gold clasp and have it soldered, it would probably be about $100 ! This store has a new fan in me!! For starters it’s just so beautiful inside!! I went in after a bit of a goose chase for a bracelet repair. I ended up at GJ and Erin (hopefully correct spelling) was above and beyond amazing. She was warm:personable, knowledgeable, and on her game! She went above and beyond to help me. Measuring my wrist, doing math based on the size of my bracelet pieces, etc. I was amazed. She took her time to determine each piece I would need to rebuild and secure my bracelet.
