RecommendedMy first time at Geisinger Shamokin Hospital went quite well. The nurses that did the tests for me, were all very friendly. I don’t quite understand why I was made to take off my mask with a filter in and put on one of their disposable ones..especially after seeing many patients in the hospital with their own personal cloth ones on, and some with their noses hanging out. Otherwise I think it’s a very nice hospital. I ended up in the ER 3 days later and decided to come back to this Hospital. All the workers were wonderful, ca... read more

I recommend that you can take anyone of the staff members there, especially the SCU GSACH Special care unit and give them total respect for the courage and expertise they give there patients. I owe my life to this staff and unit, including Drs. I cannot Thank them enough and I will never forget the treatment and care I received while there. Thank You all, You are all definetly my Hereo s!

First of all I would like to Thank my RNBSN granddaughter for helping me BY calling 911 and relaying everything they needed to know..kept talking to me until my wonderful neighbor EMT ED OHEARN FOR COMING ACROSS THE HIGHWAY and checking on me until the ambulance arrived also he was relaying information to the personnel that were responding..EMTS THAT ADMINISTER ALL THE MEDICATION AND WORKED ON ME,UNTIL I GOT TO THE SHAMOKIN GEISINGER HOSPITAL and gave me the BEST care by monitoring me and giving me medication until everythin... read more
