3 years ago I went to geisinger rheum, Dr Danario or however he spells it, and he dismissed me and my symptoms. Fast forward to today, my symptoms and flares have worsened, I was scheduled for an appointment with Dr Koons and less than 24 hours before the appointment I received a call from her secretary Debbie, canceling it, stating dr koons wont be in, and she can’t get me scheduled to see any doctor for 3 months, and at a further location. How is this patient care?

The entire staff at Lewisburg Rheumatology are wonderful. Dr Kirstin Kooms took her time with me and explained everything to me even though I'm a RN. (RN'S do not know everything) Did lab work and messaged me when all labs were completed. Highly recommended Dr Kooms and this facility!
Physical distancing and masks are in place. Rheumatologist reviewed all symptoms and laid out treatment options fully. Listened to my concerns and followed through with a plan of action.
