A mixed bag. Hospitalists, nurses really good. Helpful. ED efficient. ED team very effective. Tests prompt and the technicians personable. Meal service and patient handbook, not so much. I was admitted via the ED. I was on the seventh floor on 9/1. Maria and Manisha were very helpful nurses, strong follow through, supportive and efficient. We called the phone number in the handbook to order lunch. They told us there is no seventh floor. They said they no longer serve this hospital. So the phone number is wrong. The worst hospital staff you could ever imagine. There’s no Holy Spirit in this place whatsoever. 7th floor nurses and doctors were so rude and uncaring for our dying father. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Disgraceful. I hope you’re all equally recompensed in the last moments of your life.
Went there for stomach problems. Young blonde nurse Jacquie or Jaqueline was so nice!! Wait times were long, but that’s expected. Thanks!
I was brought to this hospital as a child and unfortunately was ignored. I endured Munchausen by proxy, and this hospital facilitated the abuse. They should have listened and noticed the signs. Instead, I continued to be forced medication unnecessarily. I was traumatized by the medical practice. Please take your oath of “do no harm” seriously. By not listening to me at all, you did great harm.
Recently, my mother was transferred here from our small hospital in Huntingdon and being from the Harrisburg area I was a little concerned about her going to this hospital due to my own personal experience here on a couple of past occasions. And then reading the reviews from 3 to 7 months ago. I’ve been extremely concerned and watching the situation like a hawk.
