My Dr is currently out of the office for a couple weeks. I suffer from migraines and headaches and the Dr covering refuses to send in my meds. I'm limited on what I can take bc of being on a blood thinner. This isn't the first issue I've had with Lori wallower. I see from other reviews a few people have had issues with her. Wonder why she's even a Dr since she doesn't seem to care. I mean she's not even my Dr so what gives her the right to deny my meds that my regular Dr has no issue with?
I saw Dr Ahmed Tarique. I went in because of my swollen tonsils and fatigue. I was dismissed when i suspected i had mono. He said i didnt, without even doing a test. He gave me antibiotics that then sent me to the ER the same night. When I arrived at the ER they told me I had mono! Highly don't recommend and extremely dissapointed being dismissed when I had concerns. It was an awful experience. Thankfully pennstate hershey ER was incredible. Only positive from this office was front desk was nice.
Daughter decided to try this practice out of desperation again. (Was misdiagnosed first time she was there) and it worsened her problem. Doctor was dismissive of her concerns and was insistent that she take medication that was prescribed. We were in the ER a few hours later as the medication started to give her arrhythmias. Dr. Hertzler is the best doctor ever. She goes above and beyond; she's compassionate and she makes sure you are heard. All of my family see her, and thanks to her, she sent my dad for testing. He was diagnosed with cancer and is being treated. Some other doctors take 2 to 3 minutes and walk away from you, not letting you express yourself or what's wrong. That's something I need to praise her for—she makes sure I feel comfortable, heard, that the problem is addressed, and understood.
God forbid u need to leave on an emergency and need refills just in case. Well unfortunately I have state insurance so my meds won't be covered out of state. The Dr won't send them in bc he just sent them Monday. It's like a 3 day supply and idk if I'll have enough to last me. And I cannot afford a hospital or Dr visit. If I didn't need to go on this trip, I definitely would not. This is not the first time I called today to. Spoke to several people and they all assured me it would be taken care of. Liars.
