On April 28, 2024 a family member went to this office for a head cold. Carole Hegedty gave him a strep test. He said no to the test but she made him take it. Now we are stuck with a $641 bill for the strep test!! My insurance company refuses to cover the charge because of the CODE they used for his diagnosis. A strep test should have NEVER been done with the diagnosis they gave him. I have called Geisinger several times requesting for them to change the code and they REFUSE!!! Good people but the wait is FOREVER. They work at their own pace with no sense of urgency what so ever. I have sat in the waiting room for an hour now waiting to go back to be seen and I did check in online. This is ridiculous.
