My experience here was fine, but they billed me as if I was seeing a specialist, not for urgent care. Since I did not have a referral from my primary care doctor (side note: Why would I have a referral if it is an urgent care visit?), insurance did not cover it. So they are called "Careworks Urgent Care" but they do not bill as urgent care. Make that make sense, please. We stopped in this clinic to have my son tested for strep throat. The receptionist was rude and we waited for over 45 mins in the waiting room. After waiting I went up to get an estimate on how much longer it would be and if she could give me an estimate on the cost of this visit. She assured me it would be no more than $100. We got called back and then waited another half hour in the room. They tested us and then several weeks later we received a bill for over $200.
