Recommendedwe've had really good experiences with the docs at Gehrman- have seen quite a few - Rob, Liz and Jen, and Dr. Gehrman, right before retirement dealt with a tumor on my golden/border collie mix. Yesterday I had to put my kitty down and Dr. Jen did a fantastic job in answering my questions and the process, although gut-wrenching, was as compassionate as it could possibly be...all the docs and staff have both the joy and empathy for one's pets...Liz Evans
Hands down, the best vet I’ve been to, and this was only my first time there! Dr. Jenna examined my cat, Bellatrix, and was so kind and explained everything to me in full detail! Although I wasn’t allowed inside because of the COVID pandemic, I genuinely was thrilled that they cared so much for my cat and did so well with her, and the woman who picked her up and brought her back to my car was so nice and reassuring! Thank you so much for an amazing visit, I will definitely be coming here from now on!
We love Dr. Robb! He’s great with our two dogs and cat. Highly recommended this vet office as everyone from the front desk to technicians are fantastic
Was shopping around for a new vet for a dog with newly diagnosed epilepsy that just couldn’t get regulated with meds. Dr. Matt used his brain and thought out of the box that I had been in with other people. Turned out my dog was gravely ill due to a medication side effect. He gently and kindly told me that Dallas needed to be hospitalized, and gave me a hug when I was overwhelmed. My dog was in ICU for 5 days and has been on lockdown at home for a week. Dr Chuck, Dr Rob and the entire staff at Gehrman treat Lulu like family! They always go above and beyond when Lulu is in need of care!
The best ,I've been using Gehrman for 40yrs, 5 dogs 4 are in heaven and one 12 yr old pointer - wired hair Griffin is still with us, over the yrs o have used all of the vets Ken was primary but also a friend of my brother in laws, he has since retired. but i bet he misses it and return on a part time on call basis. All of the vets are caring loving. Compassionate people. Yes now they are accredited, but even before they were they were the best in town.And my dogs have had weird issues. I was recommended Gehrman Animal Hospital by neighbors when we got our new puppy, Nora, and I'm so glad I took them up on their recommendation! The second week we had her, she came down with a really rare bacteria that Dr. Rob and Dr. Liz tried to diagnose, and even though they weren't able to, they called it like it was and recommended us to the University of Minnesota.
