Tom Gehring came to me highly recommended as a carpenter and very much in-demand. I have to say he installed a door at the top of the basement stairs and did an outstanding job, especially as the stairs were very close to my kitchen stove. As it turned out, the door opened almost all the way, and Tom installed the door so well that no paint was chipped and no fixtures on the basement wall had to be removed.
