They failed to honor their 3-month and 12-month warranties, leaving numerous repairs incomplete despite our constant follow-up. They will likely push you to close on your home before all issues are resolved and then feign ignorance later. Do not trust any verbal promises; get everything in writing. Unbalanced hvac, and misaligned drywalls are some of the issues we faced, that is never addressed.
Awesome experience. Friendly and professional. Assisted us post sale with lots of questions. Ryan and Andrew have been the best. Crystal was a great help during financing/paperwork.
I am an actively licensed real estate appraiser. So buying into a quality long term community was important for us. Hawkes Landing fit the bill. This house seems to be constructed well also. Our home feels energy efficient and we didn't opt for the solar panels. We've been in our home for a short while now and with all the weather changes, we've barely had to adjust our thermostat much. They never came back to repair all the items under the 3 months and 12 months warranty despite the constant follow up. They left our HOA with no funds and they did not finish the construction of the community. If you are considering buying a home from them, please do not close until everything is delivered. Be careful on the transition of the HOA.
We bought our home already built about 99%. So it’s not our choices but they built it well and were really good about making sure things were fixed for us before closing. Considering how much was built and done, minor things are definitely just that- super minor paint or drywall issues. They did such a great overall job in the interior and exterior.
