Didn't care about my concerns. I disagreed with using DMTs . She became frustrated and it showed. She shrugged off any type of pain I was in. She constantly said go to the ER. She refused to do a neurologist's job. She doesn't know anything about living with MS! She just pushes the newest drug for MS. Very dismissive condescending and lacks empathy.
She refused to treat my MS until I had neck AND back surgery to rule out those being my “problems”. I cried she was so dismissive. She sat and just looked at me and shrugged. I cried. My husband removed me from the office and told them we would not be back. They were not concerned about my images, bloodwork that came back positive for MOG antibody disease or ANYTHING else to do with my brain or my MS. I always enjoy my visits with Gr. Ganesh and the staff. My questions are always answered thoroughly. She spends a lot of time with me in the room and is very detail oriented. She remembers previous appointments and conversations. They all answer my questions in a timely manner as well. I was diagnosed a year ago and have many concerns/worries and they always put me at ease or schedule appointments promptly if needed.
This Dr. along with her knowledgeable staff is amazing. They have helped in so many ways and that is with every visit. I am a native to Louisville but live in another state. They are diligent in providing me with the best care even so far away. They contact other providers that I need within my home town. They go out of their way and are always 2 steps ahead in their profession to help me in my journey with MS. Trust me when I say this is a disease you have to fight. I like that she is very thorough and very pleasant to interact with. She is knowledgeable and having Secondary Progressive MS she understands that at this time I don't want to try any new medication and supports me either way. She is willing to do telehealth with me as my circumstances have change but to physically see her in the office once a year which works for me. She was condescending, impersonal and short with me. She is a very knowledgeable doctor but if you try to advocate for yourself or ask questions she doesn’t seem to like that.
Sent to her for a second opinion. She indicated my ms had progressed to secondary ms (no testing) and recommended a newly approved therapy for secondary ms. I declined to take new medicine. She did not like my response. She is a doctor that sez do as I say or I can't help you. Does not review charts to see what has previously worked for the patient, but instead changed treatment. Dr Ganesh has been wonderful to me and listened to my questions and concerns. However, I would prefer she not assume that I am uneducated in what she is trying to tell me and give me detailed information. Her staff, on the other hand, have been horrible. Failing to call in medications after an appointment until I call and ask where they are. No filing insurance paperwork unless constantly followed up on. When I call to ask the status I get a don't call us we'll call you attitude.
Dr Ganesh brushed off my health concerns and told me I might be handicapped the rest of my life, then gave me no answers or theories to support that dismissive "diagnosis ".
