If I could, I’d give them 0 stars. I brought in my laptop to have a new screen installed as the old one broke. They had me prepay some money and leave my laptop at the store. I received a text stating the amount would be around $500 for parts and labor. I agreed to this. Three weeks pass and they text me that my computer is ready for pick up. It’s pretty sad I can copy the review from another customer that fell prey to horrible customer service from the Springfield Geek Squad. You’ll be better off finding a third party to deliver you product than relying on a horribly overpriced service that can’t deliver in their promise. The Geek Squad did not show up for their scheduled appointment and they did not call. They tied up an entire day. When I called to to find out what happened and to see if they were coming all I got was they wanted to reschedule me for a week and a half later and from 7am to 7pm! No one working can do this! Their customer service and communication is poor.
Don’t know how to do their jobs
Extremely disappointed with Geek Squad. I drove 3 hours round trip for an appointment, expecting at least some basic troubleshooting or inspection. Instead, they didn’t even touch my computer. No effort, no suggestions, nothing helpful whatsoever. It felt like they were just going through the motions without any intention of actually diagnosing or fixing the issue. A complete waste of my time and gas. Definitely won’t be coming back.
