I have paid an annual subscription for several years for computer repair services by the Geek Squad and will not be renewing my subscription. The only reason I've had to use this service in the past was for a computer tune up. Now when I have a real problem, the geeks are not able to help and I had to seek out and pay an IT professional to recover passwords and bookmarks which were lost when Firefox did an update. The professional recovered the information in less than 15 minutes. Don't bother signing up for this service.

I recently visited Best Buy and was really pleased with the service. The advisor Gabriel was a true professional: they listened carefully to all my questions, helped me choose the right model, and even gave me a few useful tips on setup. You could tell they really knew their stuff and genuinely wanted to help. Thanks to such attentive and friendly service, I left the store in a great mood and will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Was told they could do repairs on ps5 disc drives, then got hung up on, called back and the second person said they couldn’t do that unless I have a geek squad warrenty, so ultimately geek squad is useless, liars and a cash grab if I’m trying to use your service I shouldn’t have to pay for a subscription every month just to have a warrenty on an item you don’t even know if you can repair or not.
