Worst experience ever !! Will never go back. On the day of service for my son’s laptop I had explain the problem. They ran diagnosis and determine in need s to be shipped in their repair shop in Kentucky . The next day I get a call that I need to go sign some paperwork so I drove back again to sign the paperwork that somehow they didn’t ask me to sign on the first day I had dropped the laptop. 3 -weeks later I get a email to go pick up my laptop. Saul is a very good technician. He is patient and listens to what I have to say. He was determined to solve a problem with my phone. The only issue I had with the Geek Squad is that after my appointment, I received an email informing me that I had missed my Squad appointment, which, obviously, I didn't.
I have the yearly protection plan with Geek Squad, which covers everything I buy there. My sons Bose ear buds, $300, stopped working properly, full $300 in store credit. He got a new pair, Sony, and everything is great now. I highly recommend Geek Squad!!!
Brought in a laptop stuck on a recovery loop possibly due to a battery issue. He completely ignored my concerns about the battery and went straight into talking about using a recovery to get the data off to a new laptop. First off, the program isn't asking for a recovery key at all. And when I checked my Microsoft account it said the were none. He didn't address my battery concern until I brought it up again. Very nice staff. I'm not very "bright" about technology but they explained everything in a way I could understand and even suggested a cheaper way for my to get my laptop fixed.
