They lied when they diagnosed my vehicle because I could fix it myself rather then paying them 700 dollars to fix it. Was a hundred dollar fix that I did for no reason never resolved the issue had to spend countless amounts of money to fix it but finally got it done right myself no telling what it would have cost if I let them do it. Do not recommend at all
Recommendedwhen i first contacted Gears, i talked to Brian, he was spot on in telling me what went wrong with my truck over the phone. he gave me a price. and when i said i would bring the truck to them he said no. we have towing. bonus!. it took a little longer to get my truck back, but Brian let me know why. after i got it back, had a little snap-fu but Tyler helped me out after work hours and while he was on a mini vacation with his family. how much better than that can you get. My mom’s car had a check engine light and we originally took it to the dealer to have it diagnosed and fixed. Within a day of getting it back from the dealer, who charged us $90 to diagnose the problem, the check engine light was back on and running worse than before they “fixed” it. Took it to Gears and within hours they had actually diagnosed the problem, instead of just reading the “code” and had the car repaired and ready for me to pickup for my mom. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Quick on their work. Havent got mine in yet but expect perfect reliabilty from my transmission they done. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Will leave another review after in and test drove.

I'll put it this way. First I started by shopping around for prices. The first shop told me >$2500 the other shops I looked at told me the same thing. Being that I owned multiple Chevy vehicles and replaced numerous transmissions in my other Chevy I figured I would never find a shop to do a transmission job less than that. Did some looking around and came to my trusty google website and found Gears Transmission.
