If you need something for the desert, they have it. Love this place. We always fill up our water here and usually walk out with a couple of pieces of new gear. The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable.
I stopped in at Gearheads today after the rainfly on my tent was damaged beyond repair in a storm. Desperate for a reasonably-priced fix so we could continue our trip, Bill spent about an hour with my husband and me coming up with some creative solutions. He let us set up our tent on their covered patio (it was raining) and try out a few combinations of emergency blankets, various cords and bungies and patch tape.
