Unfortunately, I’m having a similar situation as someone else that recently reviewed GDI. Gave 29k to get started on a fresh build. It took 2 years for us to realize this wasn’t working out. Only got unsealed house plans out of it. Was told we would get about half of that back about 4 months ago, after begging for an invoice. Run around and lies is all we’ve gotten. My experience with GDI has been a nightmare. I signed a contract 10/3/23 and I’m still sitting in a hollowed out cave. I have no idea what the problem is but i gave one partner $80,000 at the beginning of January and besides gutting my house and pouring a slab, nothing has really happened.

GDI provides a very reliable and professional team. They take time up front to discuss your requirements, make suggestions and recommendations and help with planning to ensure a very satisfactory outcome. They arrive on time- every day. They keep you appraised of next steps and what to expect when. They have good suggestions on materials and sources of materials in some cases. Their work quality is excellent.
