I went to fix my truck here and the quote was around 700 and then when he said he fixed it he was charging me 1,400. Word of advise NEVER go here. He is a dishonest person and will charge you the free towing at the end when he clearly stated that it is free.
Don't like it. They try to play you for your money, and others have complained about the same thing before as well
i have been taking my car from shop to shop and nobody could figure out how to fix it, was told one thing after another and wasted money for nothing. when i was about to give up and and junk my car a friend of mine recommended gby transmissions, he said that he took his car in and in less than a week they took care of an issue he'd been having for months. so i thought id give it one last chance, as it turns out the reason my transmission kept on having problems wasn't because of internal components it was an electrical issue... read more
had a pleasant experience, they took their time to explain to me what was going on with my transmission. came in with my car not moving and left happy with the work even learned a little bit of how my transmission works, and also learned on how to take care of my vehicle a bit better.

My husband and I first brought our car in last year around Sept. In the past 7 months we have taken the car back in 4 times as of yesterday. Same issues shifting hard, possible leak, and gear placement shifts hard. We have misplaced our receipt "warranty" and Lalo said that Ray left GBY and took papers (receipts, warranties) with him. So in other words he cant find our original and is only going to LOOK at the car. Have any of you who still have a warranty within the last 12 months, experienced this issue or are aware?
Warning first off I drove my car in there. Lalo will rip you off. Quoted $600-$800 and 4days later changed it to $1600-$1900. After a week and a half I took my car out on a tow truck with no transmission and a box full of what once was my transmission. Clamed it need all these hard parts and could show me the old parts.Total dirtbag. Another customer did the same thing as I was waiting on a tow truck.
