Well this is just the beginning for me but I love it already,I like the fact that the nutrition classes are held here,all my resources I need are given to me and most of all Dr.Bello is very pleasant,I'm looking forwards to my surgery.
I had gastric sleeve surgery on June 1, 2016 by Dr Bello. From the first information session until my year visit yesterday, this program has been with me every step of the way. The doctors and nutritionist are always available to answer any questions I have. I am so thankful for this program.
I am so excited to start my journey with GBMC. I've only done my consultation but I'm schedule in June for my nutrition class. I can't wait for these 6 months to be over so I can get my surgery date. I'm excited for a new, healthier me.
I was sleeved on 3/7/2017 by Dr. Friesen and had a great experience throughout the entire process from the nutrition classes to the stay in the hospital. The nurses were amazing and checked in on me frequently. I am now 7 days post-op and I feel great!
I have not had my surgery yet,but on week 3 of nutrition class I have lost 20 lbs.since my last nutrition class.I did that just by starting to use the tools I have been taught in Nutrition Class!! I am handicapped but I now go swimming, so I know have a exercise I CAN DO!!!!! I am so excited about the new life I have begun,& this is pre- surgery.I hope to be SLEEVED in JUNE.
