Animal loving vet with good hours Extended hours (until 6:30 some days) were what first led us to GAH. The staff are all friendly and caring to the animals, and Dr. Dugan is especially kind. She has a true enthusiasm for what she does, and is especially good with cats. (She was recommended to us by a dog owner, and she is very good with dogs as well, but it is often hard to find a cat loving vet.)
Please direct me in the right direction Hello, I am currently attending Penn Foster College for getting my Associates Degree for Veterinarian Technican. It's a on-line/study at home program. (college is based in Arizona) Around the end of July to beginning of August, I am searching for a new home. So I am moving to the Richmond, VA area. Michigan is where I live currently and no jobs are in sight. If you could please direct me to the right person or persons to get an opportunity to work in a hospital, I would greatly appreci... read more
Can’t express enough how much you should not take your animals to this hospital. Whitney the manager treats her staff like absolute trash. As a customer, I was shocked at how she interacts with her staff as well as with the animals. She will not have my business any longer and you should not give her yours either.
This facility seems very understaffed and miss managed. I called multiple times this week looking for a new place to take my pup since we have moved and I never received a call back. This location was convenient but I’ll go further if it ensures a more attentive and inviting atmosphere.
The staff at Gayton Animal Hospital was friendly, kind, and very helpful. Bryon was also caring toward my cat. He explained all procedures extremely well. The vet was also kind and knowledgeable. I never felt rushed. It was a good experience.

As I write this, I am grieving the loss of my two 16-year-old tabbies- sisters. Sam Tisnado and her wonderful colleagues were the most compassionate, kind and caring people. They made sure my girls were cared for all their lives. And when it came time for me to make the hard decisions, Dr Tisnado and everyone was right by my side and my girls’ sides. I have recommended Gayton to many people, all of whom made sure to tell me how pleased they are. Your fur companions will be like family to these folks. Trust me.
