1 1/2 months post op, total hip replacement and feeling good. Biking from the 2nd or 3rd week, and now squatting with light weights, swimming, etc. There was secondary soft tissue pain for a while, but my hip feels strong. Dr. Siram impressed me from the start with his excellent bedside manner and thoroughness. I'm only 50, but have had much experience with orthos, and he's up there with the best. Dr. Siram is a gracious knowledgeable orthopedic specialist who is getting ready to prepare me for knee surgery and has been treating me for over a year now. Him and his staff have been wonderful and they are service oriented which really makes a difference in ones treatment. I love Dr. Siram. He is a great hip surgeon. God gave him a gift to help other and he is carrying out his specialty. I was in so much pain and could hardly walk. He has given me the freedom to walk after surgery if through I know it a healing process I am so very happy and blessed.
After two years of working with amazing professionals in PT, accupucture, massage therapy, body - mind integrative medicine and pain management for a bum hip, I decided to seek out thoughts on a surgerical options and upon a recommendation saw Dr. Siram about a month ago. An X-ray revealed a condition that was easily described by Dr Siram as one that required surgery. Bottom line, Dr. Siram is excellent, his staff is great and has been very helpful, my hip replacement and experience 2 weeks post surgery is great. Great physician, excellent communicator, very patient and insightful. I'm thankful that he's my doctor.
