Dr. Gupta is a remarkable doctor and human being. Not only is he incredible as a doctor but has a sense of warmth and empathy towards his patients. He relays information in a clear and concise manner and is sure to ask if there are any questions. He also works with a “plan” after each visit so it is clear where treatment is going. All doctors could benefit from his model of treatment. He also has a remarkable staff that are excellent in their follow up with patients. RWJ is privileged to have him on staff.
Dr. Gupta and all his team gave me exceptional care. I first consulted with the doctor by telemed. It was very easy to get through to Dr. Gupta’s office and make arrangements. He performed a diagnostic cerebral angiogram at RWJ New Brunswick. There were problems that day at the hospital, for example, the computer system in his operating room went down, and that made the day longer than it would have been. Dr. Gupta is a wonderful neurosurgeon. From my very first visit he took the time to explain everything about my aneurysm and the tests necessary along with potential treatment. He and Dr. Roychowdhury stented and coiled the aneurysm August 2020. They are amazingly talented surgeons and saved my life. I highly recommend them both.

I met Dr. Gupta in 2013, with an aneurysm. Dr. Gupta has been my doctor for 7 years and has truly saved my life. With the support groups and all the topics that they bring to the meetings assures me that can't live my life to the fullest and regain a normal life. Dr. Gupta is very specific in giving me all the knowledge concerning my condition. For that I am thankful.
Dr Gupta is very good at explaining what is to be done. He is also very good at taking time to answer any questions very courteous and professional. Would highly recommend him for surgery.
