I have a second hand 21.5ft cc that has an 3/16" thick hull and it's a tank. I've got a 250hp evinrude on it and a 15.5x16 pitch prop and even with all the weight it launches out of the hole in about 1.25 to 1.5 boat lengths. Rides like a dream, you can hit a wake or wave wide open at 48mph and barely feel a bump. Shes heavy but she performs perfect for my dad who's older and can't pound on a normal boat hull for hours.

Can't think of anyone else with as much experience as Clint Gaudet that is still in Biz after 25 plus years. How many boat builders come and go due to lack of quality, service and low customer satisfaction. Must be doing something right.
