Traditional pizza like it was made initially in the 1950s, thin and crispy, and cut in squares (pie cut if requested). Homemade sausage, meatballs, and spaghetti sauce. Fresh dough made daily. A couple of tables to dine in but mostly carryout and delivery. Sorry no credit cards or debit cards accepted.

I only ordered from this place one time, and it was absolutely TERRIBLE! We ordered a pizza & double italian sub. The crust was like cardboard, hardly any sauce on it, and it was burned to a crisp! The sub DID have double meat, but only 2 banana peppers and NO italian dressing. I called in and complained, and instead of apologizing, all the manager said was "What do you want?" They ended up comping the sub, but overall customer service was severely lacking...
CBUS's Best ZAA – Joe and Vince have carried on a tradition of great pizza since 1952. My Grandmother took me to Gatto's 40 yrs ago and when ever I am in Columbus ....it is my FIRST stop...Thanks Joe and Vince ..o and Bill...don't forget Bill
Best pizza on campus, maybe even columbus – best on campus, hands down. don't waste your money anywhere else for pizza.
Awesome Pizza! :) – Tried Gatto's Pizza for the first time tonight. It was awesome! I will definately go back! Their hand crafted sausage and dough was great! You gotta try it! You will love it!
The oldest pizza place and still the best in Columbus! – I grew up in Columbus and I live in Miami now. This will definitely be one of my first stops when I get back for the holidays this weekend. If you want real pizza. This is it!
Great pie! – This is just good pizza. Great crust with super sauce, and fresh topping and high grade cheese. This place knows what pizza is about! Best in Clintonville.
The Best of the Best!!! – I grew up right around the corner from Gatto's in Clintonville and learned very early on that they were the best. Of course I' ve tried others, but always come back to Gatto's because there's nothing like them anywhere I've ever gone!! The crust is light and crispy and--my favorite--the pepperonis curl up with the little pools of grease in the middle! That's what I'm talkin about! Gattos' will ALWAYS be the BEST!! I feel sorry for anyone that hasn't had the experience. Incredible!
European Pizza On Demand – We are a couple from Europe living in Clintonville and we have one of Gatto's amazing pizze at least once a week. If you are looking for something Europeans might consider a pizza, Gatto's is the right place: if you ask them, they will prepare a 'ultra thin' crust, you want to ask for the 'light sauce' and you can order 'just a sprinkle' of your desired toppings - and there you have it, like in a thousand places home in Italia. Amazing salad and pizza!! – This is my first review ever posted, ANYWHERE. I took the time to do this as Gatto's is that amazing. I used to eat it weekly in college, and when I moved to Houston, TX I actually go the unique salad dressing recipie to try and match it (no where close to how they make it).
