This ‘practitioner’ refused to evaluate my sick 3 year old autistic grandchild because he was not as cooperative as she wanted. I’m sorry, but as a pediatric NP, this comes with the profession. Autistic children have special needs and when sick they have difficulty expressing themselves. One would expect this to be understood by someone in the field. All 4 of my children have been going to Carroll Children's Center since we moved to Carroll County in 2003. Dr Wendy has always been very thorough and compassionate when treating all of my children. Being a larger practice, we are not always sure who we will see when we come in. I can't think of one time that we have ever been disappointed with the care that my children were provided at Carroll Children's. However, we are always happy to hear when we get to see Dr Wendy.
