Purchased an "in-stock" trailer and they missed delivery at two weeks and then missed final delivery at three weeks causing me to go a different route due to commitments to my customers.... sale never completed they just took my money. Now I have to hire an attorney and try to get my money back which they are currently refusing. I can not recommend this seller. Buyer beware!!!

I work in automotive industry specializing in paint and plating. Gatormade may be powder painting but their pre-treatment is not adequate for the application. My gator made trailer was purchased from the factory 1 year ago and the paint does peel. Gatormade should consider applying an adhesion test on finished products so they can see for them selves. Gator made is full of crap , I paid $26000 for elite dual tandem trailer in June of 2022 , I didn’t start using until three months and the torque arms and bushing are gone, I was hearing a noise in the rear once I brung trailer back to Chicago, but everyone was saying it just needs to be broken in, but I u see that wasn’t the case!!! This 35ft. TRAILER that I purchased in January, has been WEARING tires out since the very 3rd load! Also I have repaired the SPRINGS underneath it twice, and TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, the company in KENTUCKY wouldn't even call me back after leaving them SEVERAL MESSAGES. THIS HAS GOT TO BE 1 of the WORST INVESTMENT I have ever made!! THEY SEEMED like really nice PEOPLE until I tried to contact them about this RAGGEDY LEMON of a TRAILER they sold me. Our trailer a 25 ft 16,000 lb ball hitch with big ramps is great except the supposed powder coating. Many places missed and peeling off, seems like light paint over rust. Would like to see how paint is applied. This has been kept inside most of time.
The salesman I spoke with on 1/17/22 said really great things a free I told him exactly what I wanted and he quoted me with a down payment just to get started…the down payment to get started and the down payment I had to pay picking it up were 2 different numbers….I have a problem with someone that does Bait and Switch….after talking to him 3-4 times he now calls me when I’m in the process of trying to do the Wire Transfer and says after he spoke with people at his job I need to put down more….instead of being so eager and t... read more
Junk. Bought a 7 x 14 dump trailer 4 years ago. Troubles from the beginning with tires, battery, hydraulics, etc. No viable warranty on anything. The latest issue is amazing. The trailer frame itself actually failed. It split in two on both sides. Luckily it was at a dump site, and not on the highway. Of course Gatormade excepts no responsibility. Their steel failed. How many trailers are out there on the road waiting for it to happen? I posted photos on their website twice but I'm sure they won't be there long.
One star only because I cant give them negative stars. Rodney S******** with Gatormade is the worst sales representative I have ever dealt with and I deal with tons of them every day. He reneged on a Purchase Order that he accepted for a wholesale purchase, and then hounded me for money. I explained to him where he needed to send the invoice to be paid and he called back the next day threatening me that i need to pay up or he would sell it to someone else.
