My review of Gateway Village after residing here for eight years. The first year the management company was excellent, and the young lady's name that worked in the office during this time was Milyeda. I was impressed by the beautiful landscaping and how the grounds and hallways were always immaculate and maintained by the nicest couple. During the eight years, the complex changed management twice, and overnight it seem to go down. I agree with K. Hess review, nightmare best describes my dealings as well with this management team. I moved out September 2025 after living here for 8 years. I gave notice (a little over the standard 60-day notice required), that I would be moving out by the 26 but was informed by the office that I had to pay rent for the entire month of September. These apartments turned into a nightmare. We lived there for almost a full year and started having issues the last few months.Moving in we had them push back the apt model ready and then the apt itself weeks but move in itself finally went ok. Once there, seemed quiet but in June the neighbors had a lot of people living there constantly in and out and we requested a transfer. Then we saw ROAACHES!!! The unit itself is okay. No issues with pests, appliances, or anything of the sort. The staff can be difficult to get in touch with, especially if you work a 9-5, as they’re closed at 5pm and weekends. They’ve never responded to my emails through their portal. They enter the property so much, they should honestly be paying ME rent. It’s been about once a month on average. All previous apartments I’ve rented were around once or twice a year, max. It’s really annoying.
