My financial partner trying to sell property in Newport and northern Maine, has had nothing but problems with gateway title. Constantly going through extensions that should have been closed on the 1st of December. It was a cash sale, and they had us do all the footwork, on top of that. They said it wasn’t their responsibility. If anyone is trying to sell property in Maine, just proceed with caution if the buying party is using gateway title. We’ve had nothing but problems.
Do not use these people they over promise and don't deliver. I have a simple bill of sale cash deal that has no title taking over two weeks to close. Christine said she would take care of it. Does not deliver. Told two days ago everything set have numbers. Still waiting....
