Wait times can unfortunately be quite long at times, and I do think the practice could improve communication around changes to opening hours, particularly by ensuring the website and signage are kept up to date. That said, I’m still giving Gateway Medical 5 stars because having an accessible bulk-billing medical service in the area is incredibly valuable, and I really appreciate the care provided by the team. I recently suffered a hip and pelvic fracture from a fall on some rocks. In the past I have not had positive experiences with the Gateway medical Centre GP’s but tonight I was treated by Dr Betty Patapis. She was absolutely amazing. A shining star. The opposite of all my previous experiences and full of care, professionalism, patience, informed advice and support.
