Went in with a herniated disk recently so was in a severe amount of pain. I asked the receptionist when the soonest appointment was to which they said “about 30-40 minutes” 2 and a half hours later I was seen and sent for a CT SCAN. I returned to Gateway asking for my results the next day as organised. I was told a Dr would call me at 2pm..I called back at 4pm as I hadn’t received a call. It has taken me four years to write this review but I was talking about my experience at this medical centre today and thought I ought to warn people. I am beyond shocked Lakshmi Kadaba is still practising at Gateway. To list women’s health and mental health as her interests on your website is a downright laugh. The front desk staff were polite and helpful however it’s not really bulk billing for walk in. If you haven’t been in the practice in the last 2 years they charge a $140 fee for ‘initial consult’ also wait time online said half an hour but there was 1 doctor on with about 10 people waiting so take it with a grain of salt.

I visited this clinic today and wanted to share a quick note. The receptionist, who mentioned it was her first week, was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. She really made an effort to ensure patients felt comfortable, which I truly appreciated My experience was mixed due to the doctor, but I especially wanted to highlight the receptionist’s professionalism and warmth
