Yes, really! – Believe it or not, there is more than ONE person in the San Jose area with this name (though now my last name is different cuz I just got married) And - newsflash - Mel can also stand for Melissa! below review by "patient"....really?? – um....nice try. maybe if your username wasn't "mel martin", which just so happens to be the doctor's name, i would buy the below review as legit (see the one posted in 2004). instead of posting bogus reviews, you should focus on improving your practice. oh, and p.s., "under an hour" is a ridiculous wait time. have some respect for others!

Pathetic office staff. – If you would like a doctor's office staff to assist you in death, this is the place for you. My doctor referred me to a specialist. Easy right? Not so with this staff. Their referral was so vague I could not make an appointment with the specialist. REPEATED phone calls to the office yielded nothing. A call back, ain't going to happen. Unreasonable wait times – My wife and I ran away from there after 4 bad experiences. Usually they'll make you wait about half an hour in the waiting room (that's after you scheduled an appointment). Then a nurse will weight you and take some vital signs, and then you'll wait about 20 more minutes in a small room waiting for the doctor. First time I thought there was some problem, so I waited patiently. Then my wife had exactly the same experience. Second time I went there - same story. I went without an appointment and they fit me in. I had to wait a bit (but it was under an hour). The staff was very nice, and the doctor was very nice and listened to me. She was very good and answered my questions so I could understand. I don't have insurance so their discount for cash patients was a nice thing, plus I got the medicaine for only ten dollars. It was a lot faster and way cheaper than going to the emergency room! I would highly recommend this place!
