I called to cancel my sons apt bc Medicaid said they were not in network. The girl on the phone said they told me incorrectly, and they do take my insurance. I was currently in line, with a 45-minute wait, at another immediate care. Gateway didn't have a wait, so I left the current immediate care. Once we got inside Gateway, it was very clean, and the girl working was professional. She then told me they DO NOT take Medicaid. She doesn't know why the person on the phone told me incorrectly. Could not find a clinic to be seen quickly in mchenry county area. This new office has a lab onsite. This Doctor really cares about their patients. And spoke in depth about helping the community they are here to serve.
This clinic offered excellent service and proper guidance for my 6 year old grand daughter. To get her regular Doctor is a week away and we got an immediate appointment at Gateway Express Clinic. Highly recommend this clinic for urgent and also general needs.
