great dry cleaners With their friendly staff, and extended hours, Gateway Cleaners makes it easy to do laundry. They even have an after hours drop off box! Situated in a large commercial area, there is plenty of parking.
Terrible Manager - Beware of Hidden Fees I have had a very bad experience with the owner/manager. Never returned my call, never there! I We were loyal and happy customers, until recently. I used to have my shirts laundered. I came to pick up my shirts and I noticed an additional 3.75 charge. The girl at the counter, the large one stated that she could not give me my shirt unless I paid the full price. They added 3.75 to my claim without asking me or calling me. Average Cleaning I have never had a "bad" experience with Gateway, but I've never been overly impressed either. Prices are in line with other cleaners and they have your clothes ready when they say they will, but they don't go out of their way to take care of you. Service is adequate. Had a hem come loose in one of my pant legs and they didn't repair it or flag it but they pressed it down so one leg was longer than the other and didn't mention it to me - frustrating when I went to get dressed. Have moved on to another cleane... read more
Impressive Very impressed with there cleaning on my daughters wedding gown. I have used them for years but sparingly recently due to retirement and felt a acknowledgment was over due. My daughter had the dress cleaned at another cleaners up north and did not come out well. Best cleaners.
BAD prices, BAD job, BAD customer service - BAD experience I took my ball gown in to get it cleaned before wearing it to the Marine Corp Ball in Virginia. They charged me double what they estimated over the phone (annoying but understandable). Somehow they managed to take out the zipper along the seam, continuing down about 2 inches past where the zipper ended.
