Gateway classic cars rely on the owners to tell them the good and the bad of the vehicle. Gateway classic cars takes them at there word. The car I wanted was a 1957 Mercury Monterey convertible. I just bought an ‘87 Cadillac from Bob, Sharon, and Chris. They’re super friendly and made the entire transaction easy. No BS fees or any of the traditional dealership nonsense. I really appreciated how straightforward they are to deal with. The place is a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip.
We went into the Gateway Classic Cars Showroom at Philadelphia located in Runnemede, NJ to look at a vehicle We saw on Autotrader Classics. I did call ahead of time to make sure the vehicle was still there and available. Did not know it was a consignment type organization, but was pleasantly surprised. I visited Gateway Classic Cars in Runnemede NJ to look at their inventory. I was greeted by Bob and he was very knowledgeable about the inventory and extremely helpful. I wasn't ready to buy that day, but when I am I will be sure to go back there and see Bob. I felt like a kid in a candy store! Love the new location.
Went to have them sell my 2007 TBSS. Told them in advance it was daily driven for a while and I got tired of FB marketplace morons. It was a rare rust free stock TBSS as most were modded or rust boxes. Drove it to the showroom and the guy I spoke with on the phone was pretty clueless about TBSS once we started talking (first red flag). In fact, the entire staff there weren’t really well educated on them(second red flag).
