I left my vehicle with the service department on September 5th my scheduled appointment due to an oil leak I was told they needed 4-5 business days to do the diagnostics today is now September 15th and my vehicle still has not even been looked at what is the point of a scheduled appointment if your vehicle sits there for 10 days and doesn’t even get looked at???

I usually don’t give a one star on a review unless they actually deserve it. We had stopped in the other day to look at a trading in our SUV for a truck. First the test drive. We were not even able to test it out on the freeway or speeds faster than 30 mph. We went around the small block of 4 stop lights and back. That’s not a test drive that’s a “don’t drive it too fast to feel what’s wrong drive” but I still wanted to see the numbers cause I like the truck. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Gateway Chevrolet’s service department and the repeated lack of communication and follow-through. After recall work was performed on my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado, additional damage occurred. I was initially told a part needed to be ordered and that I would be contacted when it arrived. Weeks passed with no follow-up. When I called, I was then told no part was needed and scheduled an appointment that I was assured would take no more than three hours.
