Not only are Dr. Dodd, Dr. Rosaly, and Dr. Hynes great veterinarians, but they're fantastic individuals and treat each pet as if it's their own pets. They've all been on Staten Island for years and you can count on their wealth of experience.
Excellent doctors and staff at Gateway. They always go above and beyond. My only complaint is that it's a little expensive because they are part of VCA.
Dr. John Hynes is the best vet I've ever had in my entire life. Seriously. I currently have 4 fur-babies and would travel well over an hour even just for a simple nail clipping. He is one of the most compassionate people I've ever met, and a true animal lover. (Heck, he doesn't even eat them!) He is always honest, answers every one of the million questions I always have, and doesn't try to squeeze money from you like previous vets I've had. I really trust him. Highly recommended!
I have been using Gateway for many years for my five dogs . Dr Rosaly and Jill Hynes are the reason I have been so faithful to this hospital . They are both so professional and caring . I wouldn't go anywhere else unless those 2 ever left .
Brought our golden retriever over for a check-up and pleasantly surprised by how gentle and kind the staff was to him. Lucky is usually very anxious at the vets, but when Dr Dodd saw him, Lucky seemed to be comfortable and at ease. You could say Dr Dodd is the Dog Whisperer.
