I've lived there since October of 2012, I'd say the first month was great, after that, he went downhill from there. first it was my water heater that they neglected to check until may of 2013, then it was my a/c, that took about 3-4 times to fix, but my husband ended up actually stopping the leak, by the time those were fixed it was too late, the carpet and flooring were already ruined.... The place needs a lot of work and the manager in the office is young, no experience and has no clue. the office is closed a lot to. the manager has a name tattood across her chest that looks ghetto and unprofessional. One of the neighbors told me that the only reason she gots the job is cause her aunt connie is the area supervisor. apparently thats supposed to be a secret but we all knows. do yourself a favor and go somewheres else.
I have lived here since they opened in 2008 and I love it here. The office staff is wonderful VERY friendly makes you feel like that are glad to see you. Carl is wonderful he is always very busy but makes time to get to everyone as quick as possible. They all are very ready to help you with anything you may need. They keep the complex looking nice and clean there has been many of times that the office staff will be out cleaning up and makeing sure that everything is nice and neat .I would tell all my friends and family to mo... read more
I lived there for approximently 3 months.I hated it!! First, and foremost its called Gates of Oakwood and there are no gates?? The maintenance crew is nice. The property manager nice. Far as living there not good.I had an Ac problem.It leaked all over my carpet . The manager sent someone to fix it . The problem kept continuing.Finally on the third try my ac was properly repaired. The maintenance man never suctioned (wet vacummed) my carpet. I was pregnant at the time The smell was unbearable!! Also my refrigerator leaked wat... read more
