Move in was a horrible experience from beginning to end. Issue number one, I was told I couldn’t get my keys the day scheduled because they had to repair my thermostat I moved in my thermostat still does not work (heat) I have been sitting in a cold apartment for over 24 hours at this point and will be until further notice according to leasing staff/managers. I lived in the North Building for just over 2 years and would consider my experience to be overall positive. My apartment was large for the rent I was paying and had good features like a dishwasher, balcony, and central AC. The building is surprisingly quiet for how many people live there, and I rarely heard my neighbors through the walls. I wouldn't have gave it a one star, but let me explain. A certain front desk attendant befriended me and that was the worst decision I could have or made in my life. She wanted me to give her a review and I barely knew her. Which are not too long took down so I'm renewing my review. My first mistake was letting this woman into my life and sharing things that was going on with me, personal and professional. I am a spiritualist and I did several readings for her. Why do I pay 1,000 plus a month and have to take the steps to the 14 floor with an infant inside a car seat? Then when you call maintenance they have an attitude and tell you we already know, then when you ask how long they don’t know😒. The elevators are. Down almost Every month! Along with these sugar ants! Will be my last year here

I am a new resident at Gates Mills and I am happy with our decision. The move in process has been smooth and straightforward. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Our leasing agent Jazmine is a gem. She has been very supportive and responsive from the beginning. Her confidence in the community and informative nature made the difference when choosing Gates Mills to be our new home.
