I've had a really great experience living here. The amenities are solid, the units are spacious, and the overall value is definitely worth it. The view from the balcony is one of my favorite things about the place. It's honestly hard to beat. Nick, the leasing manager, was professional, helpful throughout the move-in process. Terrible apartment complex do not step foot in here. The stairway is constantly littered in trash. The back doors are left unlocked for months at a time. If you park your car in the bottom of the garage and it rains rust will drip onto your car. The staff is rude and as an attitude. Don’t fall for the trap. Oh and someone got killed in the west building. And they took no extra security measures…

I rented an apartment at Gates Mills Place for two years, and unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative. First and foremost, the building consistently smelled of marijuana. This was a persistent issue throughout my stay, and it made living there very unpleasant. Despite the supposed enforcement of community rules, nothing seemed to be done to address it. Literal murder happened in West building. Staff aren’t that nice. Maintenance has no idea what they are doing. It’s clean and well kept. Rent price is decent. Only one wheelchair accessible ramp and it’s all the way in the back. Lots of things break and the plumbing is horrible. It’s a decent place to live but I’m not sure I’d recommend everyone to live here.

As a person with severe disabilities and a long-time resident under K&D Management, I was shocked and disappointed by the treatment I received at Gate Mills Place. My experience began with a troubling interaction with Nick, the leasing manager. His tone was rude and dismissive—so much so that even my 8-year-old son noticed.
