I’ve been a resident at Gates Mills Place for about two years now, having moved to Cleveland from Texas. I must say, my experience here has been fantastic. I have no complaints. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the building is meticulously cleaned every morning. The maintenance team goes above and beyond, and our front desk concierge, Judy, always goes the extra mile for residents, even when some tasks are beyond her reach. I stopped by the property today. I did not have an appointment and I was greeted by a very pleasant young lady named Peyton Mercer. I told her what I was looking for and when I was planning to move. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She showed me a two bdr/bth flat that was a model suite. She didn't have a 2/2 to show me, but did give me a folder with all the rental information in it. This building is terrible. Maintenance sucks. Cleaning people don’t really clean. This has a been a terrible winter. They treat the west building like a foster kid. Parking lot doesn’t get plowed and limits garage parking knowing we don’t have covering like other buildings. It’s not our responsibility to clean up after this building. Doors are usually unlocked. Keys fobs don’t work. Elevators don’t work. Must I go on. Spent 2 years here and they didn’t have certification for elevators. They so quick to call you when you owe ... read more

I have been a resident here for 11 months. I like the fact that there’s a laundry room with lots of machines and dryers .Exercise room. Secured access to the exterior doors.Receiving Mail and packages has not been an issue.There are improvements being made to the W bldg car port and garage. Anytime I have requested maintenance I have been serviced within 1/2 days. My only complaint is that the elevators have been down a few times and the air conditioning wasn’t working at the beginning of the hot days. So far I haven’t had a... read more

I lived in the North Building for just over 2 years and would consider my experience to be overall positive. My apartment was large for the rent I was paying and had good features like a dishwasher, balcony, and central AC. The building is surprisingly quiet for how many people live there, and I rarely heard my neighbors through the walls.
