Cheaper Gates Are Made in China – I purchased, had delivered, and installed a gate, support skeleton, and opener for my driveway in January 2009. After the rains of early 2010, my "powder coated" gate has started to rust. I called Gate Depot, and they do not give a warranty about the gate nor the marketing, and they did say the gate was made in China. (So they can't get me the paint match!) This gate was not primed.
