Gastrointestinal Specialists was co-founded by Dr. Jerry Stern and Dr. Mark Finklestein in 1994. Since its inception the practice has grown to seven physicians (Dr. Stern, Dr. Finklestein, Dr. Salomons, Dr. Slye and Dr. Teixeira, Dr. Prodanovic, Dr. Stone), and a nurse practitioner, Sallie Zanoni, NP, four offices and an ambulatory Endoscopy Center, Commonwealth Endoscopy Center.Our practice was created to provide state of the art medical care in a warm and caring environment for our patients.

Recommendedwell I love Dr. Texeira. the nurses at Quincy Street and East Bridgewater are excellent. office assistants are pleasant and efficient. Oh, and I will be following Dr. Texeira to Plymouth when he leaves Brockton!!! I have a lot of history with him because he is the one that diagnosed me with colon cancer. He was an important part of saving my life!! thank you
