I was scheduled to take a case management patient to a colonoscopy appointment there. I cleared my day. The patient duty did her prep the day befoŕe. The family called in the afternoon before to see when she was scheduled for today and she was told that the nurses would be starting the calls shortly. They did NOT tell the patient that they had taken her off the schedule for some reason and changed it to the following week without letting the patient know.
