RecommendedSeriously the best small animal vet in Northwest Indiana! We had our barn cat spayed and they took the best care of her! Spayed, teeth cleaned, ears cleaned, mats removed, and so much more! If you’re looking for a vet, doesn’t hesitate to take them to Gast Animal Hospital!

I showed up with my English Mastiff on a day you were having a meeting. You were not open for patients, however you opened your doors to clip my Izzie's toenails. Today, spur of the moment you were available to clip my dogs nails. You can definitely tell that the employees love there job. Thank you!

Our dog Bella was treated with gentle care even to her last day. Dr Gast is so calm, soft spoken, honest and also sympathetic. She hugged me when I needed comfort and understood our sadness when we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl of 13 years. Sherri and Rachel are always kind too. I trust my pets in their hands 100%. DR. GAST AND HER STAFF KNOW MY TWO DOGS VERY WELL. IF THE WAITING ROOM IS EMPTY, ONE OF MY GREYHOUNDS WILL GO VISIT WITH THE STAFF. SHE LIKES GOING TO THE VET. THEY ARE VERY WELCOMING.
After many years of Roux suffering from an infection Dr.Gast and her staff where able to cure his infection. We were surprised at how companionate and professionally they tackled this terrible infection in both ears. We are delighted that he is no longer is suffering from this double bacterial infection, no other vet was able to diagnose that he had two types of bacteria and needed to be treated with antibiotics that would kill both. Thank You for making Roux life pain free again.
