Gaslight Properties is a repugnant organization that is run by discombobulated individuals who provide cringe worthy customer service and abhorrent communication skills. The organization is grossly incompetent and fails to address everything ranging from the company voicemail, their work email addresses and time sensitive maintenance requests. DO NOT RENT FROM GASLIGHT they do not care about anything other than making money. I could sit here and list all the awful things I experienced with Gaslight but I don't have the energy. Greed is evil and this place- this place is evil. Please take my word, find somewhere else to rent! The cheap deposits and great locations are enticing but thats how the devil gets ya.
Today I signed the lease for a beautiful apartment, and I can't be happier. Meg was amazing. She answered all my questions and made the whole process easy and fun. Health and Safety hazards galore. This company is absolutely horrendous and their apartments are even worse. The Jonathan Apartments are quite frankly falling apart. There is ceilings caving in, mold growing everywhere, the front door doesn’t lock, and packages get stolen every day. Oh and don’t forget the break ins that happen with no cameras to catch it. This company is a nightmare, and I have low standards. From necessary apartment repairs that take six+ weeks and multiple phone calls (leaking plumbing, broken balcony door, nonfunctional outlets) to the sorry state of the building (all external doors/locks being broken and virtually unusable to weeks at a time, broken emergency exit lights, burned out bulbs everywhere, generally filthy, everything smells like weed all the time) to repeated errors with communication, mistakes on my lease, and the absolute ordeal that is tryi... read more
Do not rent from this company. They are horrible to deal with. They are rude and unprofessional. They are your classic slumlords and do not treat the college students fairly. If your student signs a contract without first seeing the apartment they will likely be shocked. The properties look nothing like the pictures.
