We had dinner at Gaslight Grill last night celebrating my wife's birthday. We had dinner in the Backroom and enjoyed Lynn Zimmer and the Jazz Band. They do take requests. They are very good! For dinner we had the Beef Tenderloin Esgarot for an appetizer which was amazing. I had a mix green salad. We both had the Sunday Prime Rib special. This was amazing. My waiter - Marvin - was so kind and sweet. I got to sit in the back room and listen to Lynn Zimmer and the band play the most dynamic, beautiful sounding music I have heard in a long time. I had the opportunity to meet him and speak with him one on one. He was kind enough to help me out with an assignment I needed to complete for my Jazz History class (a.k.a. the reason I was there). It was our first time at Gaslight Grill. Our waiters were wonderful, very patient with my elderly hard of hearing mother. The food was delicious! They made my father's 89th birthday a special one. And he LOVED hearing the jazz he's loved all his life. We were very impressed with the overall experience!
Had the steak and shrimp... steak was cooked perfectly for me with great flavor!
My boyfriend recently treated me to dinner here and we sat in the back to enjoy the live jazz music. Our waiter was wonderful and the lobster was amazing. Very impressed with the presentation and service. The lights were a bit too dim, but overall great first time!
