Called Gas Monkey for what we thought was something simple. Pull a permit and oversee a a gas meter being installed for us to have heat. One week later after initial visit we were told they just have to meet with Huntsville Utilities and we would have our heat. They now after being paid wont answer our phone calls or return calls. Nights are getting colder and I have no other recourse but to call the BBB and then after that file a report with HPD. It should have never came to this. I called gas monkey looking for help to replace a gas line. I left them a voicemail after hours and about 20 minutes later got a call back, saying how they could be out there in the morning to help figure out my grandparents gas line. Thank you, gas monkey for the quick response and great service!
Finally got a hold of them. Had them install a gas pack for me back in april. Didn't complete the job, they left the flashing off for several months before I finally got them to come do that. Now it's almost October, and they haven't closed the permit, which has to be done in order to turn the gas on. So this company has left me with no heat going into the cooler days. I will update my review when they close my permit.
If I could give negative stars I would. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
If you live in the county, estimates are not free, you have to pay for their gas. That fortunately was the limit of my business with them. If they learn that you are getting more than one quote, they will become irritate and and mistreat you on the phone. The lady providing the quote made it very clear from the beginning that I was wasting her time because their price is apparently higher than everyone else's.
